Lord of the Rings movies to experience for the first time again post reading the Silmarillion. Actually add the LOTR books and the Hobbit. The Silmarillion is what made me fall in love with the rest, and it would be fun to be able to experience the rest again after reading the Silmarillion.

Seconding Bioshock. That was really one of those "you'll always remember where you were when you first played it" games.
bur: It's an octopus with a bat from Pirate Baby's Cabana Street Fight 2006. (Default)

hatoful boyfriend.

i'd heard that underneath the pigeony silliness it was actually really good. so i played it, and it turned out to be an emotional roller coaster that exceeded my expectations in every respect.

You should play Doki Doki Liturature club if you haven't already. It's another dating sim that starts in one place and ends up somewhere completely unexpected.

Dark Souls. I love being familiar with the series now, but there are times I wish I could go back to the summer when I played the first game and that early-game moment where I clicked from "I can't it's too hard" to "it's hard, but I can do it and I can't wait to see what I'm up against next."

Breath of the Wild. It's such a wonderful, fleshed out game, but... after you've found everything, the replay value is actually really low. :(

Nordic noir series 'The Bridge'. One of the best crime thrillers I've ever seen.
