(Anonymous) 2019-02-02 10:16 am (UTC)(link)She, by far, was the guilty one in that relationship.
It doesn't help that there is so little context with the entire situation. (and with the Marauders as a whole really) But their relationship only began after the death of Sirius, the loss of another job, and yet again finding himself in the same war that took everything away from him in the first place. (and then some)
J.K. has a habit of creating relationships where she really shouldn't, but IMO, this one takes the cake. With the context given, Tonks took advantage of Remus' plight be it unconsciously or not. (my guess, not.)
Because (if only) the one thing that Remus would never do is pass off his lycanthropy in any way, shape, or form. He would never risk having a child if there was a single chance it could carry his werewolf genes.
Tonks may not carry the name of Black, but that doesn't mean she isn't one all the same... If at one point Remus came to his senses and left her, well, I really can't blame him for that.
(I would go on, but this is already a mess in itself, sorry)
