SA - should have known that would set people off. Body hair - in the absence of a medical condition - is a human (indeed mammalian) trait. Growing more of it in various locations upon sexual maturity is, broadly speaking, a human trait. Not everyone grows as much as everyone else, true, but it's rightfully perceived as a part of puberty. Sorry if facts upset you.

"hurrr if you don't like body hair you're a covert pedo into prepubescent people sorry but those are the facts *smug*"

This entire comment section, but especially yours, is why no one likes body hair advocates. You're all complete assholes.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-04 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
I repeat: "hairless is too prepubescent to me." Emphasis on "to me". Didn't realize I was the only one commenting on this secret who wasn't allowed a personal opinion/preference.

And I said that, for most people, growing body hair at puberty is a fact, not that people who like less or no hair are pedophiles. Reading comprehension skills are important and useful, so you should probably learn some!

Don't be obtuse, you knew what you implied was loaded.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-04 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
So everyone else in this thread can be obtuse and ignore what I'm repeatedly saying?

(Anonymous) 2019-02-04 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
You mean the part where you're implying that you're morally superior to people because you prefer body hair, by doubling down on the insinuation that anyone that doesn't is a pedophile?

(Anonymous) 2019-02-04 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
You said something shitty that could easily be taken as "I like body hair because I'm not into prepubescent kids lol sorry pervs" and are doubling down on it like you said nothing wrong.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-04 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
It's almost as if you said something kind of crappy and people are reacting accordingly...

(Anonymous) 2019-02-04 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
Or it's like people chose to take offense at what they read into my statement about my own personal tastes?

(Anonymous) 2019-02-04 01:30 pm (UTC)(link)
"Hurrdurr I used to be a naive little idiot like you but I grew up and now I'm an ADULT and I'm into other hairy ADULTS unlike all you other dumb sheep who still like the kiddy look and clearly never grew out of your childish tastes like I did" is only a moderately hyperbolicly paraphased version of what you wrote. This isn't just about your personal taste, it's also about judging everyone else's personal taste and you know it.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-04 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
I want to call this person a troll. But they honestly seem to believe they're the victim, here, and not just a rude jerk.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-05 01:30 pm (UTC)(link)
No we're not. We just like a bit of body hair on men. but we do all the generalising, sure.

/sarcasm in case you missed it

(Anonymous) 2019-02-04 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
No one in this thread is saying that a person with zero body hair anywhere is the norm.

However, I know men who have zero chest hair, and less arm and leg hair than I do (I'm female with light hair, for reference). It's completely normal and natural for them. Amount of body hair in adults ranges widely from person to person and also, yes, race is often a factor in that. A man with no chest hair is no more abnormal than a man who is quite hirsute.

Sorry if facts upset you. You rude wank baiter.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-04 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
*gasp* Are you telling me that people vary in their appearance? I'm shocked to learn that! I'm not saying that all men without a lot of body hair are ugly, or childlike, or whatever so many people are taking offense at. I'm saying that I PERSONALLY prefer men with chest hair in part because of the mental connection I have regarding puberty/body hair, even if I'm well aware that it is not universal in all men.

FFS. When I see anyone raving about breast sizes on actresses or talking about people with breasts growing them in their teens as part of puberty, I don't get offended on behalf of my negative-A cup size or feel like less of a woman because of it or talk about all the small- and medium-chested women I know to prove we exist. I simply recognize that people who like breasts have a right to their opinion as to how big is sexy to them.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-04 10:32 am (UTC)(link)
Nice try but

>even if I'm well aware that it is not universal in all men.

Yes of course, but initially you made a biased assumption and you know it. Now you're going "it's just MY PREFERENCE!!!" bc yeah, you had an underlying bias that was reflected in your initial statement. Just deal with it and stop looking like an ass. Next time maybe don't generalize that all adults aren't white adults.

I used to feel the same...when I was a teen. Now I’m an adult and attracted to other adults. I’m not saying I necessarily want a fur-covered torso (or back), but hairless is too prepubescent to me.
