Back in probably 2012, I read a fic that was fairly long, IIRC. I think it was chaptered, but it might have been one longform oneshot.

It involved like an alternate universe or something where Kaiba had to confront previous iterations of himself, like the version of him that creates the murder theme park in the manga? And I think Jonouchi might have been in a coma or something and was experiencing moments with these different versions of Kaiba?

I don't know. I've looked on AO3 and FF.net and can't find it, and for all I know, it might have been posted on Tumblr.

My memory is that the author was a bit of a wanky figure in both Puppyshipping and Yu-Gi-Oh! fandom as a whole and that she was in the military IRL or had been at one point?

Idk. This is a long shot, I know, but last I knew there were at least a couple of other Yu-Gi-Oh! fans on this community, so any & all help would be appreciated.

If you want to go searching for KaiJou fic and come across a 27 chapter piece where Jonouchi & Kaiba have a child (a daughter, I think) who travels back to the past before they were together, the link to that would be appreciated too.

Okay! This is super late, and I'm seriously the /worst/ at searching for things, but-! I love YGO, and want to help!
About how long would you say 'fairly long' is? (as a fan of marathon length fic, I'm not exactly sure;; be it 15,000-30,000, or 75,000-120,000;; /though be it YGO, i'm guessing the former/shorter even;;) Do you remember if it had any other pairings, or major characters in general?

Same with the other fic! I'll look the best I can, but if you can guess at the length/whatever else, even my inability to search for things, I might be able to find something!

(the first thing that comes to mind without looking, is a fic where the Ishtars work as mediums, Kai/Jou is a sub paring so I doubt that's it though)
