I don't even know who she is, but ... it's generally not a good idea to refer to yourself as funny.

That's not something that's up to you to decide and it makes you look like a dick if you try to force that on people like it's fact, instead of entirely subjective and 100% down to the opinion of the person you're speaking to.

You'll rarely even find a comedian who insists they're funny and being funny is literally their job.
