Do people not know that if he doesn't want to go bald...he can just get hair transplants? This isn't the 90s. We have the technology.

+1

Literally took the words out of my mouth.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-10 09:27 pm (UTC)(link)
To my knowledge they haven't mastered that technology. Plugs still look weird as fuck and there is no "miracle growth" hair. Though in Hollywood wigs are probably easy to come by.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-10 09:39 pm (UTC)(link)
That isn't true at all.

Look at this list of before and after. Take note of the ones who admitted they had transplants (A. J. McLean, Wayne Rooney, Kyran Bracken, Jason Gardiner, Calum Best, Joey Fatone) . https://www.buzzfeed.com/kimberleydadds/42-celebrity-men-who-are-less-bald-than-they-used-to-be

i assume joel mchale is on that list? he was bald as fuck when the soup premiered.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-10 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Some of those examples are laughably bad, though. Don't get me wrong, Matthew McConaughey's before and after looks impressive, as does Jon Cryer. Chris Martin, Kyran Bracken, Calum Best and Jeremy Piven look kinda okay. Most of those guys have simply grown their hair out vs. having a buzz cut, styled it differently, or are being shot from a more flattering angle. Some of them look like they're wearing a bad rug.

Christian Slater actually looks worse in his after pic, LOL.

We have the technology.

We can make him faster. Stronger. Furrier.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-11 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
LOL

(Anonymous) 2019-02-10 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I think you might have some overly high expectations of this technology if you think it's that easy and effective of a solution, even for people with money.

His hairline looks about the same to me; it's combed back instead of flopping forward in bangs but...i think it looks good.

And the man's only what, 37? Bruce Willis is *still* doing action stuff, as is Van Damme and a few others - I don't think Mr. Evans is ready for the 'doddering professor in a sweater' roles just yet.

(But, you know...give him a sweet shawl-collar cardigan with nothing underneath, i'm down with that....)

'doddering professor in a sweater' roles

Anon from below - I swear I didn't read this before mentioning Jude Law LOL

You're welcome.
:D

IDK, Jude Law's widow's peak is approaching mohawk levels, and I'd still buy him as a hunky lead.

Of course, that's Jude Law. I don't know that Chris Evans has that type of presence or star power.

I dunno, I think he probably would, with the right role.

gimme a break, lots of bald guys are extremely attractive!

(Anonymous) 2019-02-10 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Where does OP say that Chris Evans won't be attractive with less hair?
greghousesgf: (Hugh SF Music)

[personal profile] greghousesgf 2019-02-10 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
OP SAID "can no longer play hunky romantic hero lead", that implies less attractive.

Please, Tom Hiddleston has a receding hairline with a fivehead and girls still swoon over him. Evans is retiring from acting IIRC.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-11 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
I thought that was som Chris Evans/Benedict Cumberbatch face-meld manip. Oops?
