Bullshit. I studied art in University. I also love comics.

Not all comic art is good art. Not all comic artists are good artists. After reading so many comics it's not that hard to identify the places where an artist reaches for something and makes an awkward miss, as opposed to deliberate genre appropriate style choices.

Not OP but just wanted to add that the image is of Aly Raisman from the annual ESPN body issue, which is really worth checking out, it's a really cool thing that they do every year, just as a study of the human body.
