Look, I love big boobs, and yes, there are people who get mad because the boobs are there at all. I agree those people are annoying.

Big boobs isn't what makes some comic art bad. Or big muscles, for that matter.

But there ARE common mistakes and unintended anatomical horrors made in drawings made by untrained or poorly trained artists that's grating to see over and over, just like it's possible to hear the difference between off key untrained singing and a trained singer singing a disturbing song.

And for whatever reason, the Big Two will elevate and celebrate some mediocre as fuck bro artist.

Sometimes we like things in spite of shitty art, and sometimes even in part because the shitty art is part of that, and that's OK too.

IMO the talent pool on the whole for American comics is pretty limited because the skilled needed are steep, the market limited, and the pay is low. While definitely not all, there's still a fair share of female creators guilty of amateur mistakes too. I don't think it's just a gender thing.

Amateur mistakes aren't the problem, unless you think someone who's been in the game for 10, 20, 30 years is still an amateur.

Nayrt, but amateur is describing the level of the mistakes, not necessarily the overall quality of someone’s output (though it’s also possible for people to have an Achilles’ heel or not improve much regardless of years of experience).
