I've been an artist all my life and there's a big difference between exaggeration from someone with a competent understanding of the fundamentals of anatomy, and exaggeration by someone who knows fuck all about what they're doing and tries to pass it off as "their style". Even a Loony Tunes artist knows the rules before they break them, and that's as cartoony as it gets. A comic book hero is supposed to be at least a little more realistic than slapstick funny animals.
