if the first goal of the art is to turn men on, then the goal of telling a good story in a visual medium is sacrificed and sacrificed when it comes to female characters in particular

yeah I know some people laugh at the anatomy in stuff that is mostly meant for porn like Hellblade or whatever, but the vast majority of complaints are about comics that are theoretically telling a story, that tell interesting and dynamic stories with their male characters, where the *writing* may even be laboring to tell a compelling story with the female characters - and then the art only contributes to making men horny

it's a disservice to everyone in the process who wan't an action story instead of porn

and it's not like men can't get actual porn elsewhere
