His birthday moved to suit an ever growing holiday- not to mention Mary had about ten different children.
Constantine was just the dick-ass Roman Emperor who decided everyone must follow this specific religion. And every other important person decided these or those rules should be ignored or heavenly demanded... Like it's one religion when you get down to it. I can't even name all the different ways people call it. There's little to nothing to separate it from Judaism, and even that, Mormonism. The fact so many different religions exist in the same rather cultist belief is bullshit in and of itself. Especially when one or another decide something must be fixed, regardless of who's translating it this time.
