So... Whats the worst religion?

No, no, that's too easy. Obviously Scientology.

Second worst religion?

Really far right evangelicals are scary, but don’t count as a religion on their own I suppose. And it’s not all Christians, just the type that are quiverfulls or whatever.

Everything to do with Jesus.
I mean, most of the testament+ is half translated/not even there, (see the black sea scrolls, which a shepard burned half of them for firewood) and Jesus himself is literally Cesare Borgia in visage. His birthday moved to suit an ever growing holiday- not to mention Mary had about ten different children.
Constantine was just the dick-ass Roman Emperor who decided everyone must follow this specific religion. And every other important person decided these or those rules should be ignored or heavenly demanded... Like it's one religion when you get down to it. I can't even name all the different ways people call it. There's little to nothing to separate it from Judaism, and even that, Mormonism. The fact so many different religions exist in the same rather cultist belief is bullshit in and of itself. Especially when one or another decide something must be fixed, regardless of who's translating it this time.

And most that is actually bad and - in the context of this thread's topic -worse than other religions because...?

Wotansvolk? In the same vein, Ariosophy, Christian Identity, Creativity?

On the other hand, Heaven's Gate is pretty bad.

You know I was sitting here waiting for someone to pipe up with "ISLAM!" so i could jump in, but i gotta admit the Wotansvolk thing really gets right up my nose.

I mean, if you look at the stories of the Aesir and the Vanir, you'll notice a degree of tribalism sure, (particularly when under attack), but you'll also notice a willing to mix and mingle with the other races.

I mean they often has serious animosity with the Jotun, but then you'll see them invite Skathi into their ranks. How anyone can take the old Norse stories and decide from that the message is "Right what we need to to get rid of anyone not like us" is an absolute mystery to me.

I generally think most religions have a roughly equal potential to be terrible, always depending on the individual people/group's practising them.

That's actually true, imo. Hell even Scientology depends on the character of the faithful, rather than the faith in and of itself. All religions have some pretty fucked up things in their writings, but a good follower can make the difference.

Still, that's not the wanky argument I was hoping to get, so new I need to think of some way to insult you.
