I really enjoyed it except.... Vanya's sad panda-ness really got on my nerves by the end, and I stopped caring.

I could watch Klaus (and Ben, and the Klaus and Ben show) all damn day. It was pretty neat, different, pretty to watch. I'd recommend it, for sure.

See I honestly though Vanya would start grating on me, so I was surprised when she didn't. I guess because if I found out I'd been lied to for like, 26 years and drugged for also 26 years, I'd have a pretty good reason to feel betrayed.

And she should have felt betrayed. But not by people who didn't actually *know* it had happened (and were horrified), and not by every random human she was about to kill.

I completely understand her rage, betrayal, hurt, horror, grief. But you don't *kill the whole world* because of it, unless the whole world had a hand in it, which it didn't.

Just me, maybe, but i detest that trope.

Tbf she has her “kill everyone” break after being locked in a soundless solitary confinement room, and it’s definitely portrayed more as a complete break with sanity than logic

It's true. And OMG, i was so angry with Luther for a) not listening and b) insisting she be locked up and then *furious* at everyone else who *knew* it was a shitty idea but didn't challenge him and/or sneak back and let her out.
ARGH.

She still irritated me, but yeah - she wouldn't have had that psychotic break if Luther hadn't been such a tool about it.
