I enjoyed the twist, but I also suspected something like that was going to happen, they weren't subtle about it at all but it was still fun.

But the 'it's the temperature' thing did make me laugh a little because it's not like it goes from cold to suddenly warm when the sun hits the ground, it takes a little while.

Buuuuut, I also feel like picking apart zombie biology from a logical standpoint doesn't really work as they're pretty much biologically impossible as it is, so I can hand-wave this as 'magic plant does funky things' and roll with it.
