What do you mean by "safe"?

Say that it's destructive uploading, meaning that your physical brain is destroyed, but the process is 100% guaranteed risk-free, no failure or corruption possible.

well aside from failure or corruption, where would you be uploaded TO? what system or network and how does it work? who has control of it? can viruses get to you? could someone download you against your will? etc
