I found some of my old floppy disks while cleaning today, but obviously I no longer have a desktop that has a floppy disk drive (though my desktop does still run on VISTA because I'ma lazy ho), but is there an attachment or something I can use to see what's on them? A couple of the labels say 'word docs' and as a writer it's killing me not to know what's on them.

Yeah you need an external floppy drive/reader. Or you might be able to mail them to a service.

Hm, only $18 on amazon. Do I want to know what's on them that badly, lol?

Your local library might have one. Mine does.

I really hope it works out for you!

I wonder how old your desktop is, since it runs vista? (kudos to that btw, I still wish my I had my XP, tbh;;) I guess it's obvious it doesn't run floppy disk- I'd recommend going to a computer specialist maybe?? There's always a risk they won't find a solution, but it might be your best bet to find someone who can get the content off of your disk without corrupting the data?
