Love triangles, but namely the kind where it's a girl who likes a boy (we'll call her Girl A) and the boy likes another girl (we'll call her Girl B) and Girl A gets mad at Boy for liking Girl B and is a dick to him without ever letting him know why or having done anything to show that SHE likes him. But Boy is treated by the narrative and fandom like a dense jerk for not knowing and continuing to like Girl B. And it always gets solved by him realizing by himself that Girl A was actually The One all along, and only then can we forgive him.
