I'm just kind of boggling that Sunrise handed us Setsuna/Tieria and it just...hasn't happened. I'm starting to wonder if fandom has somehow castrated Setsuna because he just never gets any no matter what happens. D:

Yeah, that's also pretty odd. I would've thought they'd be contenders for the "love/hate" ship of the series and that mock trailer and some of that season 2 dialogue I read makes it that bit shippier.

I can get why Lockon/Tieria are as popular as they are (hell, I ship it myself, although I neither request nor write fic, so I'm not adding to the influx of it in the fandom anyway) but what I don't get is the lack of popularity of other ships that, in most other fandoms, would be all over the place.

Maybe because Setsuna's such a stoic type, perhaps he's difficult to write for, again, don't write fic, so I don't know. Maybe he'll be a bit more talkative in season 2, and hopefully that'll bring in some lovin' for him =P
