I don't think anybody should be attacked for liking/reading/writing rape fantasies. I just also don't think that disgust at the subject matter is an unreasonable response.

You're right, it's very difficult to express that opinion without getting on people's toes. Perhaps, then, you either shouldn't, or be prepared for wank. You wouldn't go to a gaming forum and post about how violent video games glorify violence and how bad that is, and expect no reaction or a calm one. Same princible applies.

It's fandomsecrets. This is the place for expressing opinions that step on people's toes. "Video games glorify violence" would be similarly appropriate here.

is it always accusatory or do you just always assume it is? Maybe she, you know, doesn't read about rape. It's perfectly possible to be aware of rape kinks, rape fantasies, etc, without actually reading them. I'm not the OP, and I've never been raped, and I don't read ~~"non-con"~~ rape fic, and I still find it fucking offensive.
