I dunno. I feel like things that are just so out of left field as to how you could not believe when there's concrete evidence such as flat earthers and holocaust deniers that seem obvious, but I'm not sure what else?

Yeah, I'd question the sanity of people who thought the earth was flat or that the Holocaust never happened - especially the latter, because that isn't just kookiness, it reeks of antisemitism. Anti-vaxxers are another deal breaker for me. It's not just the issue itself, it's... ignorance and bad judgment. It's lack of critical thinking skills and refusal to face reality and frankly, people who have those issues tend to be more trouble than they're worth.

Agreed on these.

I'll also throw in the "Sandy Hook and other mass shootings were staged!" dipshits and the people who think Obama wasn't born here and things of that sort. That's a special level of stupidity I just can't begin to fathom, and I could not be around somebody who honest to god believed such insulting, horrible things.

NAYRT—oh ugh, birthers and mass shooting truthers. I tend to forget they’re a thing because luckily I haven’t run into anyone who believes (or at least, tells me about) that bullshit.

The problem with those people (well, one of the many problems) is that there is no acceptable threshold of proof for them. They demand evidence, but when presented with it, they will always dismiss it as fake. "That birth certificate is a forgery!" "That supposed Sandy Hook parent is a paid actor!"
