I was the same way. I bought a LOT of books on the slim chance that I'd read them someday, but I'm really bad at getting to them. Downsizing helped with the clutter and it also helped me prioritize which books I actually wanted to read (and it helped me actually FIND them again, haha) when they weren't buried in stacks and stacks of "eh, maybe" books.
