Guy is a stalker or just generally creepy and doesn't take no for an answer, but that's okay because he loves her and she should totally end up with him in the end.

I actually like this trope in villain/heroine ships, but I loathe it in romcoms where too often the woman is shown as needing to loosen up and have fun, or ditch her career goals, or break up with her (often presented as boring) S.O., which all also involve pairing up with a Nice, Spontaneous Manchild Stalker before she can be truly happy.
