Heterosexual romance in absolutely fucking everything, even in genres where it absolutely isn't necessary to the plot.

I dislike shoehorned romance anywhere, regardless of what kind.

Actually, I just dislike the concept of shoehorning in general. It rarely comes off as a good thing.

If you haven't already, please try the webcomic Homestuck. It's usually but not always the complete opposite of the trope you just described.
