I got called into work four hours early because my boss changed the schedule on my day off yesterday and didn’t tell me (wtf by the way) so as a result I’m off work way earlier than I expected so I’m taking an early bath to chill out.

I was at rehearsal today, and my orchestra sight-read a Les Miserables medley. I never saw the musical but I guess I should give it a watch now. If anyone wants to rec me a good version, I'm all ears.

Today was my busy day. After work, I went for a walk and then spent some time with my nephew.

Chilly and rainy. Windy here, too, but not anywhere near as bad as what I've been hearing the people out in South Dakota/Wyoming/Colorado have been experiencing. Those winds combined with the kind of snowfall they're getting-I feel for those guys.

I worked, got off work a couple hours early. I habe tomorrow off and will call health care to check on the exzema in my ears. ( I've had it close to 11 months by now and it doesn't seem to go away.)

My favorite is chocolate chip waffles OR pancakes and sausage.

I usually eat dry cereal or a piece of fruit.

Alas, it doesn't feel remotely real to me. I grew up in that area of the Midlands, about five miles from where Tolkien did, and it's just wrong. For a start, why is the garden such a mess? Plus that path would be really dangerous in rain or snow.
