Re: Fanfic Writers! How would you feel if someone posted a comment to tell you about a typo?

Usually I'm first mortified to see whatever typo I've let slip, then I'm really grateful than someone took time to point it out so I can fix it. It helps that everytime it happened to me, people who pointed it out were just that: helpful, and not condescending jerks.
Only once someone told me "there are a few typo's" without pointing out which and where and I was all "dude not helpful!! as well tell me you think I can't spell for shit or what?" (because I've witnessed people being jerks like that on other people's fics too.)
