As soon as someone has "he/him" (moreso if there is an addition of "they/them") in their tumblr bio accompanied with gushing about how immensely GAY they are, SO SO GAY, chances are very high it's a heterosexual chick.

Is it the combination of he/him plus mentioning being gay? Like... I don't understand?

I've also seen comments from trans*/NB people who mention they like to see cis people but he/him and she/her in their profiles because it makes announcing of pronouns normal/common and less of an othering thing.

It's the way this particular subset of people always designs their blogs - usually a very obsessive insistence of being the gayest gay hoi who ever gayed, a theme that's OTT cutesy pastel kitschy, and a selection of teh hot yaoi ships.
