lol I am not talented in the creative arts at all, but I've wanted to be since I can remember. I come from a big family with lots of talents, and it's awlays burned in me to create but *shrug* it's just not there. I'd really like to paint, but it's been an epic failure each time I've tried.

I don't know if color mixing is your problem, but if it is, you might try this link:

It's for a book called Blue and Yellow Don't Make Green. It explains why and how color mixing in paint is very counterintuitive.
