I know, me too. I was so happy with IJ, but no one cool is on there (I lie, there are lots of cool people but I know more LJ cool people than IJ cool people), but nope. LJ paid accounts are too damn expensive for my broke ass. And I can't ask my parents to help because THEY DON'T KNOW ABOUT THIS SEKRIT JOURNAL OF MINE. oO;

OP here. I didn't think anyone here would even know what DragonLance was, much less find fellow Raistlin fans. It's nice to know I'm not the only one. =D

I have had an unhealthy attraction to him since I was twelve. It hasn't gotten any better. I am ashamed, since that's totally not the point of the character or his story.

It's ok, I think you're not alone.
There even used to be a -fabulous- fansite called Dragonlance: Never which had manga-style artwork of him - beautifully done, I might add. She did a lot of Dalamar as well.

No, it's not the point, but has that stopped anyone~?

There have been other Dragonlance secrets before. I've jumped on all of them, though I think I was a bit late to a few and the OPs never replied. *sadface*

Twelve... *counts* I think I beat you. I've liked him since I was eleven. :P And I think that it is kind of the point of his character; he's hated and at the same time, people identify with him. They even said so in one of the novels, though I can't remember which one because I've read every novel with him in it ever. (CAN YOU WAIT UNTIL THE HOURGLASS MAGE COMES OUT?!)

We've both been beaten out: when my kid sister was in elementary school, one of the little boys in her grade was named Raistlin. Regardless of how many years his parents were fans, that's some hardcore fangirling/fanboying rite thar. It's probably the best blessing and highest hope a parent can give to a kid, though.

Yay! A Raistlin secret! My day is complete and I totally agree.

When I found out my girl iguana was actually a boy, I renamed him Raistlin - the eyes are the same, and so's the personality. :P
