Dude, if you're a guy then just hire a hooker, wear a rubber and stop fretting so much. Sex really isn't that big of a deal.

If you're a chick, go pick a guy up at a bar, be safe, and same deal. No need to psych yourself out or place that much importance on it. It will only end up being a let down.

I don't think your advice is that good. Sie would likely lose her virginity, but I think the main deal is that sie wants the love from that sort of relationship and has it confused with sex. :\

Maybe. But if the OP just had the damn sex, they could cut out a lot of the confusion and stop obsessing over it. Do it, discover it really isn't the life altering act that romance novels would lead one to believe it is, and then start working on getting on with your life and maybe find another reason to enter into a relationship.

Just an assumption. It is a lot easier for a chick to go pick up a stranger than a guy. And if the OP is a guy, it seems like he'd be too shy. So, hooker is the way to go, but not the ideal.
