I've always got a bit of a "self-interested arsehole" vibe from him tbh

I love him as Klaus (and he was so unforgettable in Mortal Engines that I didn't realize that was him), but I can see why people would find his personality type (at least as it's displayed in interviews that I've seen) grating upon long exposure.

He feels (to me) like... he's always 'on'? The only time I ever felt like he was calm or normal and not putting it on is the few interviews where it's just him and Dan Castenada.
