Yeah, she was the one I hesitated on most for the list, but in terms of story impact she kind of is the least of the Starks? At least until she came back with a bang and settled the Freys, but even then ... Arya generally doesn't steer wars and uncover ancient enemies or ride dragons or anything apocalyptic or of geopolitical power. She's just ... freaky and really good at killing people now.

Maybe that will change, and they'll use her skillset more in the coming war, but at the same time ... she's an assassin, and they're facing an army of magic zombies. It's not really a skillset they CAN use much in that circumstance? Unless the catspaw dagger is going to assassinate the Night King or something like that. Which, that could happen.

Even then, I wouldn't be mad if she took that victory and lived. She still feels like someone who survives action rather than steers it. She feels smaller than most of the remnants of her family now. A more down to earth sort of skillset, even with the face-changing.

DA

I've just kind of lost interest in Arya. She was a favorite in the first couple seasons. But they haven't done enough with her storyline, and she's become pretty dull.

Actually, at this point I think all the remaining Starks are really dull. I know they are supposed to be the hero family we root for, but I couldn't care less about any of them.

I kinda feel like they did that across the board? Everybody's story seemed to stall out a bit while they set up the Long Night. Then Seasons 6/7 drastically trimmed down the major cast sections, moved most of the pieces back onto the same board, and they were all allowed to move on a bit again. Towards the apocalypse, granted, but still.
