I use it so much. I read a couple a books a week (or more) on it, so it is worth it to me. I think it depends on what you are interested in? Like 90% of what I read is fantasy, and that tends to have a lot of good stuff available through KU. It also helps that I've been reading through it for a few years, so I've picked up a bunch of authors to follow and can often find related authors from the books I've read. So I often have a lot to choose from on my "to read" list.

I am a very prolific reader who generally reads at least an hour a day at work and an hour a day before bed, though, so IDK if it would work for everyone. Especially given what I said before about genre. I'm not sure how good the offerings are in other genres.

If you don't mind my asking, are you reading mostly novels or short stories/novellas? And what kind of fantasy is it?

Pretty much only novels. And the majority is urban fantasy. The book I just finished was the latest by Melissa Olsen.
