Hm... I'm surprised that you got pushback for this, because that description of the phenomenon seems right. I also just think white women tend to ALSO use the fact that white women uniquely behave this way (White Guilt-y and self-hating enough to self-flagellate) in order to argue that they're the most oppressed/fucked up by society and therefore the feminism of white women is very very important (this kind of person tends to have convinced themselves that white women have especially good political instincts if only people would listen to them, although I'm not sure what their reasoning for that is), and I'm kind of tired of that too.

White women, please love and respect yourselves a little more. But also you're not the most oppressed. Please don't tie your self-esteem to either (1) how oppressive the group you belong to is, or (2) how oppressed the group you belong to is. You have worth independent of those things.
