I did that all the time as a kid. For me, personally, I love ketchup and hate tomato sauce (I think it's that I can't stand the taste of oregano and finding tomato pasta sauce without it is.. impossible). To the point I even avoid pizza if there's no "white" or BBQ sauce option.

As an adult, I usually have some sort of cream sauce on my pasta instead, but every once in a while, it's fun to switch it up. Makes me nostalgic.
