AGREED. Especially 50 Shades. That's a book that should never be in the hands of a teenager who doesn't yet understand what a healthy relationship is supposed to look like, let alone an abusive one. 50 Shades should NOT be their introduction to romance.

Was 50 Shades marketed toward teenagers, though? I remember it being marketed towards adult women, for sure.

50 Shades is adult erotica, so while teenagers certainly picked it up and read it because surprise, teenagers like porn, they weren't anywhere near the target demographic.
