It's https://www.reddit.com/r/bettafish/ if you haven't, and there's a ton of useful information and links there that maybe you can use as resources to show your friend. OR, better yet, maybe consider directing your friend there, because I can tell you they are... perhaps a little bit on the militant side of taking GOOD CARE OF YOUR FISH. What this is really helpful for is also showing her how other people are treating their bettas, and setting a good standard for proper care and appreciation for them. They've also got a lot of nice pictures of how much betta colouration can improve when they're cared for properly as well.
