It's dated as fuck but all the flashbacks and things in Highlander: The Series really work for me? I still love it.

And Star Trek the Original Series. It's so campy at times but it's also really thought-provoking and intriguing.

TOS is the shit, and when it's just shit it's still fun as heck to watch.

I started re-watching TOS recently. It's much better than it was when it first came out - at least, it seems that way. Young!me was all, "Doesn't everyone try to get along? Why is this programme preaching at me?" while enjoying the adventures nonetheless. Older, wiser and more experienced me thinks "yeah, that was pretty ground-breaking at the time."
