Re: What's something that's happened to you that sounds like it's fiction?

My best friend and I joke that we share a brain. When she found out she was pregnant she came over to tell me in person and when she said she had news I said "I know, you're pregnant. We did this already." Turns out we did not do this already. I just dreamed that we had that conversation that morning as I was waking up and confused it with reality. I didn't even know until 5 minutes before she showed up that she was even coming over.

I have too many stories of things like this with her, probably because we spent all our time together when we were younger and it did something to our brains. I'm sure there's a scientific explanation.

I get deja vu a lot on stuff that isn't about her too. My family think I'm psychic and they just accept me having a bad feeling or a random thought as truth. Usually it's just common sense but okay.

Are you me? I once told my boss not to bother hiring this woman because she was going to quit in three months (because I dreamt it), he hired her anyway. She quit in three months. I have dreams like that all the time. Usually I've forgotten them until it happens and then it just feels like hella powerful deja vu.

I had something like that with a friend once. We were so close, I can't describe it. It was like our brains had a direct line to one another.

Sad to say I tanked our friendship. I was pretty messed up at the time.
