I have a mani-pedi appointment later this afternoon, then I'm making loco moko for dinner. Probably going to watch baseball later this evening.

Lots of stuff going on at work! How I need to go home and then try to get myself to the gym and then maybe also get some cleaning done. It was warm these pas couple of days (I caught unprepared and was not ready to be showing my legs or toenails just yet!), but the temperature is supposed to plummet this evening and there will be some kind of late-season smowmageddon (I am assuming it will cause horrific, snowy destruction to the north, but here we will mostly get rain). I think that means I can bake something tomorrow. There's an easy citrus olive oil cake recipe I want to try, but that will wait for tomorrow.

Work, then watched my niblings so my BIL can work on the car more. I hope it gets done tonight. ;_;

I spent 1.2k in car maintenance because everything needed replaced or drained at once, including a head light, an brake light, two tires that'd gone all bubbly from pot holes, a transmission flush... Jesus, I was there for five hours when I was supposed to be there for half that. ...and I was only supposed to SPEND half that.

Finally did my taxes, haha. Was pleasantly surprised by the refund amount we're getting, but then immediately bummed by the fact that it'll all have to go into property taxes. Ah well. Adulthood!

today is tech wed for me so heading to my granddads to keep an eye on him while my gran gets her hair done. she might go out and get ingredients for the meal i will make on thursday for us three and my parents too. probably a dodgy western film in my future as I try write fic and block it all out.

Lets see. 5 hearings at 3 different courts. Left my house at 6:30 this morning. At the 3rd court, had to park 4 blocks away. Then had to lead my Toastmasters group. Only 6 other people showed up, which messed things up.

I'm currently sitting in IHOP because I just needed some me time before heading home.

Made veggie burrito filling (red and green bell peppers, tomatoes, red onion, mushroom concentrate, thyme, black beans, herbed tofu, soy chorizo, and cilantro) and now I have lunch and dinner sorted for the next couple days.) Currently on lunch break at work; it was busy, but the last couple hours are usually pretty quiet. Gonna clean house a bit when I get home; one of my two remaining blood relatives is coming to visit tomorrow.

That sounds really good. I don't always get myself organized enough to do it, but I like making big batches of stuff to eat over the course of a few days.
