Last spring was short and cold, like and extended winter. This spring is almost making up for it... gorgeous sunny weather, cool breezes and my daffodils burst into crazy blooms.

I bought a necklace with a pendant shark tooth that's set with a tiny diamond, on a white gold chain. The little boutique I bought it from also had fancy nail polish so I bought a bottle in a metallic beige/nude shade. I'm going to wear both when I go to the beach this weekend.

My cat who does not cuddle (petting is fine when he's sleepy and he's otherwise a really really sweet cat who does not scratch or bite, so it only makes me a lil bit sad) sometimes decides to take a nap next to me... touching my legs. It makes me stupidly happy when it happens.

I went out to play ball with the dog, and it's like overnight the grass got so green and long and SOFT! Took off my shoes and just ran circles in the front yard with her instead of playing ball. XD

Current events on my favorite game show. May not count, because though it's a little thing compared to the world, the impact on me is anything but. Is it a bunch of people standing around answering trivia questions? Absolutely. Is it the most upbeat I've felt this year? Also absolutely.

A WIP I'm reading got updated after three months of no update. And after 50K of incredibly intense UST......there was porn! And it was perfect, it was so hot, it was everything I wanted it to beeee!

I have a mani-pedi appointment later this afternoon, then I'm making loco moko for dinner. Probably going to watch baseball later this evening.

Lots of stuff going on at work! How I need to go home and then try to get myself to the gym and then maybe also get some cleaning done. It was warm these pas couple of days (I caught unprepared and was not ready to be showing my legs or toenails just yet!), but the temperature is supposed to plummet this evening and there will be some kind of late-season smowmageddon (I am assuming it will cause horrific, snowy destruction to the north, but here we will mostly get rain). I think that means I can bake something tomorrow. There's an easy citrus olive oil cake recipe I want to try, but that will wait for tomorrow.

I spent 1.2k in car maintenance because everything needed replaced or drained at once, including a head light, an brake light, two tires that'd gone all bubbly from pot holes, a transmission flush... Jesus, I was there for five hours when I was supposed to be there for half that. ...and I was only supposed to SPEND half that.

Finally did my taxes, haha. Was pleasantly surprised by the refund amount we're getting, but then immediately bummed by the fact that it'll all have to go into property taxes. Ah well. Adulthood!
