There's so much that can still be done with The Mummy franchise. Even if it wasn't in cinema format, I would read the ever living fuck out of a continuation book series. I'm so thirsty for more adventures featuring all of these wonderful characters.

I love these two movies but agreed, even when I was watching it at the time it came off as clunky and out-of-place and didn't really matter all that much anyway? It felt like the movie just wanted to up Rick and Evie's already wonderful relationship even more into 'destined lovers' when they really didn't need it imo.

The fact that I forget it's even a thing tells you how forgettable the concept is, lol.
