In my day if you shipped incest you just went ahead and did it. You didn't try and twist logic around to find some sort of gotcha where it's NOT incest.

Just a few years ago, nobody cared one way or the other if it was incest. People just shipped whatever they felt like shipping and didn't put any thought into it at all. Were the characters hot together? Sweet. That's a good ship then. The overthinking of fictional relationships is making the shipping landscape, and in turn fandom, a lot less fun.

Unless people with squicks start attacking shippers which is happening a lot these days, especially with incest based ships. Then there's a problem.
