Nevaeh

I've never met one, but I can already tell that in person it sounds like the smugness of a million parents who think they're sooo clever but aren't.

No offense to the actual Nevaehs. Just their parents.

Goes for anything else spelled !cleverly! backwards

Also, plural Nevaehs being SHeaven backwards is making me lol

I don't get the point of spelling heaven backwards. What does that mean anyway? Does it make it hell, or a retarded version of heaven? Is that how they see their kid? I don't get it.

It allows dumb people to feel clever, that is the only point

They couldn't exactly go with Susej (pronounced Sausage) or Tiripsyloh (pronounced Tee-rip-shiloh) or Dog (pronounced Dog) or something maybe?

Halla is ok, I guess. But probably not ok with the people in question

A woman I used to work with named her kid this. She's a very nice person, but very young, and a bit ignorant. I have no clue why she chose this.

I, personally, think it's dumb as hell.

my mom knew a very religious lady who named her baby Light. Barf.

I actually wouldn’t mind Light as a middle name for a girl, but it doesn’t really carry religious (or for that matter, Death Note) connotations to me.

I don't know who or what that is.

The first time I heard it I thought it was a really pretty name, and then someone pointed out the whole backwards thing and ruined it for me.

I know a girl with that name. She’s a total sweetheart. Her mom was a teen mom and the name seems kinda popular around younger people.
