Tbh when it comes to media using other people's opinions isn't really going to work because their tastes might not match up at all. It's why I don't bother reading reviews for movies I want to see because they most-likely wont have the same taste as me so I'll watch it and form my own opinion instead.

But in general I don't fall for internet hype/hatred because it's usually always overblown.
