It depends. I’d never buy anything Roman Polanski made, for example, but I don’t even know who all signed various things in support of him. I think Disney’s actions re: copyright suck diseased donkey balls, but I still watch Disney (and Marvel, and Fox, etc) movies.

If Johnny Depp had a bit part in, say, a Guillermo del Toro Frankenstein film (please no) I would still watch it. If I was curious about something with a bunch of douchebags involved, I’d probably wait until my local library got copies in. I save pirating for out of print or otherwise unavailable in the US stuff.
