Without them the movie would have three similar Spider-People swinging around the same and fighting the same, and that doesn't add anything, pardon the pun, amazing or visually diverse to the concept of multiversity they wanted to show.

I get that the concept of the multiverse was to combine different Spiderman storylines from different universes of the character. But I have to disagree that anything of value was lost without having those characters, being as they literally didn't do anything besides tell jokes and sort of fight along the actual characters. They didn't even appear until almost the end. Having the three main Spider-people would have still portrayed the idea that there are multiple timelines going on.

There's an infinite number of Spider-people in the multiverse; where's the fun in only having the "normal" ones? Especially in such a visually-stylized movie.

Right. I mean....If at least Noir and Ham weren't in there, that would have been a horrendously wasted opportunity with the art and animation style they chose.
