Same! I just got around to watching this a few days ago; based on previous secrets here and comments I'd seen in other places, I was expecting him to be absolutely horrible in some way or do something utterly, maliciously villainous at some point, and that just ... didn't happen. Like, for sure the guy would not win any awards for being well-adjusted or making good decisions or anything, but most of the time I felt sorry for him more than anything else.
