115: The writers have tried so, so hard to make her into some sexy, angsty, mysterious character. And to me, all they've succeeded in doing is to make her really annoying and pretentious. Her entire character feels rushed and cliche, and that's why I don't like her as a character.

Yeah, pretty much. To be honest, there are no characters on the show who grab my attention in a "OMG I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!!11" sort of way. However, I really enjoy the way they interact together.
I especially love dry humour, so when a character makes a sarcastic comment to another character, or something similar, I warm to them. I don't think Thirteen really acts like that, even in comparison to new characters like Taub or Kutner, and because of that I really can't find anything about her personality that interests me.

(I'm fairly certain I also debated with you over the whole Sakura-as-a-boy's-name secret a few days ago, or you at least responded to my coment.)

I agree with you. I don't think any of the characters are very standout and I think most of them are pretty shabbily written, but they have interesting conversations so I can shrug it off most of the time.

(Probably, I'm always hanging around here debating with someone. I apologize if I said something needlessly mean, I lose track of these things...)

I'm not sure how people can manage to gather up strong feelings about the characters because of that. It all seems very forced when they do.
