OK, so are they calling it her in, like, a friendly way, or something? And what about the "whore" part - is that also a different connotation?

No. It's that she gets her name stripped from her because a royal made a false rape accusation (which what the fuck author) and so when her crimes were found out she was stripped of title, name and rank and was made a slave and renamed Bitch, with Whore and Slut as other possible things to call her.
