116 - No, because SHIPPING IS SERIOUS BUSINESS DAMMIT. Btw, I'm a bit surprised of the intensitiy of shipping wars in this show. I mean... it's Macross for goodness' sake. o_O

121 - ...y'know, anime fan =/= weeaboo. One like anime without running around in anime T-shirts and speaking in bad fangirl!Japanese.
Not that I understand why that's a bad thing as long as it happens at anime events. I'm much more embarrassed by rabid yaoi fangirls (because they make me ashamed of liking BL) than weeaboo teenagers who will most likely grow out of this phase in a few years' time.

I never said all anime fans were weeaboos. Apparently nobody actually read the fucking secret. I said that I secretly envied the crazy whacked out anime fans because at least they can be open about their interests, unlike me. Seriously go over it again and read what I was trying to say.

Oh, I know - though frankly, the way I perceived it, the Misa vs Minmei war was more like poor Minmei herself vs thousands of fans going "RAAARGH MINMEI SHOULD GO DIAF ALREADY HURR HURR"... but I didn't really understood it even back then. Mostly because it was so clear to me who was going to "win."

I'm convinced that the Macross franchise is Shoji Kawamori's way of purging the world of otaku -- by starting massive 'ship wars that will turn everyone against each other and devolve into violent self-genocide.

Actually, because it is Macross that shipping wars shouldn't surprise anyone.
